John Cline, 3rd Degree (Sam Dan)

Biography:

Mr. John Cline is a certified black belt instructor from the World Tang Soo Do Association, and also the founder of K Defense Martial Arts under the guidance of Senior Master Patrick West, 6th Dan. Mr. Cline taught martial arts professionally to students of all ages for over 5 years. He served proudly in active duty for the United States Air Force and the Texas Air National Guard for over 6 years. In addition to his regular duty, he served as Physical Training Leader (PTL), during that time he led squadron physical fitness sessions for the Air force. After his military service, he dedicated his life to teaching and practicing martial arts.

First Instructor. He trained under Master Chuck Vaughn and Master Michael Kaye. Master Chuck Vaughn trained under Grandmaster Jae C. Shin. Master Michael Kaye trained under Master Michael White. Master Michael White trained under Grandmaster Jae C. Shin.

Mr. John Neese
Dojang - Y.T. Tang Soo Do
Second instructor. He trained under Master Yen Touysinhthiphonexay as well.

Senior Master Patrick West
Dojang - Texas Tang Soo Do
Current Instructor and Charter Member of the World Tang Soo Do Association. He first trained under Mr. Floyd Guidry who trained under Grandmaster Jae C. Shin. Master Patrick West also received training from Grandmaster Jae C. Shin himself.
